Calibrate your printer to its media from LCD menus

Please open each step below...

Press the [Menu / Home] button to access the menus.

If prompted for a password, enter “1138” and press the [Enter] key to access the printer’s simulator (ZSim, DSim, or ESim).

Navigate to Wizards > Calibration > Media using the [Directional-Pad] and the blue [Enter] key.

Answer the Media Calibration Wizard’s questions about your printable stock and whether you are using ribbon.

Press the Advance icon to continue and complete the Media Calibration Wizard’s questions successfully.

Press the [Menu / Home] key to exit the menus.

Troubleshooting media issues

If the printer fails to calibrate despite having the appropriate media settings, it is likely a media-related issue. In such cases, double-check that the settings are correct and if the problem persists, refer to the troubleshooting guides below. If that didn’t help you, refer to Honeywell’s website or the printer manual.

Once the calibration process is completed successfully, the printer is ready for use.
